Luba Genush (b. 1924) was born in Kiev, Ukraine. She studied at the School of Fine Arts in Kiev and the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna from 1943-1948,andthen immigrated to Canada (Montreal, Quebec). Her work is held in many public and University art collections as well as the National Gallery of Canada. Genush studied at the Musee des Beaux-Arts and the École to Meuble under J. Cartier in 1956. Genush studied and works in a variety of media including painting, printmaking, ceramics, collage and computer assisted images. She lives and works in Montreal.
