Danielle April was born in Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec, in 1949 and obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Laval University. In the 1980s, she also took courses at the Malaspina Print Society in Vancouver. April works in a variety of mediums, including photography and paint, but she is best known for her silkscreen prints.
