Jude Griebel earned his BFA at Emily Carr University of Art and Design and is currently completing his MA at Concordia in Montreal. His work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions internationally, most recently in Los Angeles and Reykjavik. He has worked as an artist in residence throughout North America, as well as at Workshop OM, Japan, the Frans Masereel Centrum, Belgium, and the Nes Centre, Iceland. Much of Griebel’s work uses shadow and dimensionality to depict eerie scenes of transformation and metamorphosis.
