Vikky Alexander is a Vancouver-based artist whose work is rooted in the Vancouver School of photo-conceptualism. Alexander studied at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, is a professor at Emily Carr University of Art and Design and has exhibited both locally and internationally. Solo exhibitions include the New Museum in NY, The Kunsthalle Bern, the Vancouver Art Gallery and the National Gallery of Canada, among many others. She has also exhibited in numerous group exhibitions. Although Alexander works in a variety of media, her recent work focuses on photo-collages through digital transfer technology onto printed canvas.
