Richard Tetrault is a Vancouver-based painter, printmaker and muralist whose studio work explores the shifting dynamics and transient nature of the urban landscape. Tetrault has exhibited his woodcuts and mixed media prints and paintings in exhibitions around the world, and he is represented in numerous public and private collections. He has also created murals throughout Vancouver, across Canada, and throughout Latin America and the United States. His large-scale public art projects engage the community through collaboration with various local groups, and his murals have become a staple of the East Vancouver urban landscape. In 2008, Tetrault received The City of Vancouver Mayor's Arts Award for Community Public Art. He is also a recipient of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal.
