Torrie Groening has exhibited her work in group and solo shows since 1984 in Canada and the US. After a decade living in San Francisco, Groening returned to Vancouver where she continues to work today. Her work is in several public gallery and museum collections including the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Surrey Art Gallery and the Simon Fraser University Gallery. Her involvement in printmaking has included roles as a teacher, a master printer, collector and owner of a print gallery in Canada. More recently, in San Francisco, her work has incorporated traditional digital printmaking techniques, painting and new digital technology.
