In 2001, Heather was invited to be artist in residence at the OM Printhouse in Yokohama, Japan, where she created monotypes and rediscovered her skills in drypoint etching. In 2006, she returned to Japan to take part in the opening ceremonies of the Trilateral Exhibition in Kochi, Japan, as a representative of Canada. Her work is represented in galleries in three Canadian provinces and is included in numerous private and corporate collections locally and internationally.
