N.E. Thing Co. was a collaboration between North Vancouver-based artists Ingrid and Iain Baxter from 1967-1978. Following the company's formal incorporation in 1969, they named themselves co-presidents in 1970, and conducted their work much like a business entity. They are considered leaders in the Canadian Conceptual art movement of the 1960s-70s.
