Aganetha Dyck is a contemporary Canadian artist based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. For the last 20 years, Dyck has been collaborating with honeybees to make delicate works which exemplify the power of the small. The bees act as co-artists as they transform particular objects chosen by Dyck to transform the seemingly mundane into something beautiful.
She is represented in many public collections, including the National Gallery of Canada, The Glenbow Museum and the Vancouver Art Gallery. She won the Governor General’s Award in Visual Arts and the Manitoba Arts Council Arts Award of Distinction in 2007.
