Instant Coffee’s "Say Nothing in Bright Colours" was designed specifically for a 16 x 121’ area of a second level south facing exterior wall. With optimum sightlines from the Skytrain, the shimmering sequin mural’s 26,432 pieces of 3” discs reflect sun and ambient light while visibly recording fluctuating breezes. The composition of brightly coloured bands is based on scientific diagrams of full spectrum light rays that illustrate how our eyes perceive light and colour.
