The North Burnaby Cenotaph is a stone obelisk located in Confederation Park, adjacent to the sports oval. Built in 1953, the cenotaph was erected by the North Burnaby Legion Post No. 148. It bears three emblems, one for each devastating war: WWI, WWII, and Korea. The cenotaph is still used as a memorial site and bears witness to annual Remembrance Day ceremonies.
