Enn Erisalu (1943-2005) was an Estonian-Canadian artist. Born in Haapsalu, Estonia, he immigrated with his family in 1951, settling in Vancouver. In 1963, he won a scholarship to the Art Center College of Design near Los Angeles. After returning to Vancouver in 1969, he continued his practice, working with abstraction. Around 1990, he began a series of works involving text and numbers, for which he received acclaim. A prolific artist, he has been identified by art writer and critic Robin Laurence as an artist who has received inadequate local acclaim.
