Andrew F. Affleck (1874-1935) was born in London, England, and is best known for his etched views of Belgium, England, Holland, Italy and America. Affleck skillfully rendered architectural details, tones and perspective, and during his lifetime, he was ranked as one of Britain's most important architechtural etchers of the 20th century, along with artists Hedley Fitton and Axel Haig. Around 1910, Affleck immigrated to France, where he later died in 1935 in Etaples.
